Guardian Controls International Ltd has successfully completed another year's trading in the UK and throughout the rest of the world. We are looking forward to a further exciting year supplying refrigeration control, monitoring and energy optimisation systems and products to our international clients.

Joint Venture Company with China

Guardian Controls International formed a Joint Venture Company in 2001 with Dalian Refrigeration Company Ltd., the largest industrial compressor manufacturer in China.

• Dalian Refrigeration is part of the Dalian Bingshan Group of companies, which are involved in the design and manufacturing of a wide range of mechanical, electrical and electronic products.

• The Joint Venture company, called Dalian Bingshan Guardian Automation Co. Ltd.; is based in Dalian City, a thriving seaport at the tip of a peninsular which is one hours flight time east of Beijing.
• The Joint Venture Company started trading using Guardian products and technology in April 2002 and aspires to be the market leader in refrigeration automation for Industrial compressors, chillers, coldstores and supermarkets throughout China and the Pacific rim.

Government SMART AWARD for Internet controls

Guardian Controls International received a UK Government Department of Trade and Industry SMART Award for its Enterprise Facility Management project. The award provided partial funding of the project which includes development of our new range of Internet Protocol controllers and Enterprise Facility Management PC software.

Developments

• We have recently completed the development of the Guardian SCC50, a powerful screw compressor controller with flexible facilities including two-stage compressors and automatic volumetric control. Operator display panels are now available in Chinese and russian as well as English.
• The capability of the Guardian CMC12 compressor controller has been recently extended to cater for semi-hermetic screw chiller packages with up to 3 compressors as well as a wider range of Piston Compressors.
• The new RCU11 LCS Controller provides lowcost control and monitoring in Industrial Coldstores. A number of other exciting new product developments, including Internet Protocol controllers and SNMP interfaces, will be announced shortly
